The hotel is a great value for money with affordable prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail in the rooms is impressive, with cool decorations and small wooden frame windows adding a unique touch. The hotel's location in the center of Copacabana is perfect, just a short distance from the beach and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The staff is attentive and provides excellent service, making sure that guests have everything they need. The basic amenities, including private bathrooms, meet all the essential requirements for a comfortable stay. And let's not forget the breakfast, which offers plenty of fresh fruit to start the day on a healthy note.
Everything was spot on, no improvements needed.

This place was great. In the heart of Copacabana its is great location to access Rio. The staff are super (especially Acacia!!) Tours and airport transfers can easily be organised at reception and the hostel has active schedule of things happening on different nights ranging from parties on the town, to football matches, to eat in Brazilian BBQ's. Its a friendly place with heaps going on.

location and friendliness of staff
Too busy in shared areas, nowhere to relax and chill out. Really noisey all the time

I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Copacabana and would highly recommend it. the value for money was excellent - I got so much more than I paid for. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive, from the cool decorations in the rooms to the fresh fruit at breakfast. Lastly, the location was perfect, right in the center of Copacabana.
All aspects of my stay were exceptional.

Atmosphere was great - perfect for a solo traveler as there were lots of activities organised so very easy to meet new people. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and make me feel welcome, and spoke very good English. Would definitely use a hostel in this chain again if travelling alone
If you treasure your 8 hours sleep, don't stay here!

The location and the staff was verry good. The breakfast was good swell. Its easy to meet new people since it happens a lot at the hostel! It's not the hostel for you if you are looking for peace and quiet.
The nights when you want to take it easy it's almost impossible because of the noise (or music if you want to party) from the bar. The staff that works during the nights doesn't speak English.

We were asked to give credit card details upfront via email, even though this was not specified on Booked.net. We did not know what had been charged on our card already.

This hotel in Copacabana is a great find! I was really impressed with the value for money. The prices were very reasonable considering the prime location in the center of Copacabana. The attention to detail in the rooms was also commendable. I loved the cool decorations and the small wooden frame windows gave the rooms a unique charm. Plus, having a private bathroom was definitely a bonus. And let's not forget the breakfast buffet! There was an abundance of fresh fruit that made it a delightful start to the day.
All was amazing, nothing to improve here!

Hostel staff was very helpful. Hostel has a good location, it's take few minutes to get to the Copacabana beach by walk. Brekfast was really basic.

The hostel has a good position, close to the subway and not far from the beach.
The hotel is very noisy. The rooms are located too close to the common spaces and the doors are too thin: the first night I couldn't sleep until 4 A.M.. The hostel doesn't provide credit card payment.

The hotel is located in a great area, only a short walk away from the beach, many local restaurants, and shops. the breakfast buffet was delicious and offered a variety of foods such as fresh fruit, eggs, sausages, cakes, juices, and cheese. the staff was very friendly and accommodating, willing to assist in any way they could.
Our room was located on the street side, which led to a lot of noise and bright lights coming into the room at night. the curtains were not effective at blocking the light.

It's a good place for you stay close to the Rio Beach. The staff are friendly and the place is secured and clean. However, you can definitely find better places than that in other cities at the price, but Rio is really an expensive city and I would choose Che Lagarto again if I come back to Rio
